TANK PRANK SHOWS REAL ME WILL NEVER BE CRUSHED!

It’s weird what can go viral on social media. Recently I made a TikTok video where I ran over someone’s car outside a gym. When I say ‘ran over’ I don’t mean I climbed on the bonnet and ran across the roof, I mean ‘ran over’. In a tank. You can see the footage here.

The video doesn’t stop with the car crushing. Later, when I got home, I was arrested by police. The owner of the car wasn’t particularly happy with my actions. Or that was how it was meant to look. The whole thing was in fact a carefully scripted stunt performed by actors. I didn’t actually spend a night in the cells of the local police station!

That didn’t stop many news websites from falling hook, line and sinker for the footage. The story appeared all over the place as being absolutely true. I like to think of it as confirmation that I’m pretty good at acting! Check it out for yourself here – https://www.tiktok.com/@eddiehallwsm?lang=en

Social media has its ups and downs but I’ve always found it a great way to get myself across to people. The basic message it sends is that I see life as a place to have fun – but sometimes we have to stop and talk about the serious stuff too.

The Eddie you see on my Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok is precisely the Eddie you get in real life. I can’t imagine how disappointing it is to meet a well-known person and find they’re actually the complete opposite of the image they put out. I’d be gutted if someone thought that of me. And that’s why I keep my acting skills for TV, film – and running over people’s cars. With me, what you see is what you get.
Keep on keeping it real!
