You might want to get yourself down to your nearest cinema. Not only have tubs of popcorn never been bigger but yours truly is up there on the silver screen!
Right now, at cinemas across the world, I’m being thrown over a bar by my old pal Sylvester Stallone and having a good old-fashioned punch-up with Jason Statham. Well, having been cast as a bartender in Expend4bles (the fourth in the all-star action movie series created by Sly) it would have been rude not to. I’m joining Megan Fox, Andy Garcia, and 50 Cent as newcomers to the franchise, with Sly himself playing leader of the Expendables, Barney Ross.
The wheels of Hollywood move slowly so I actually got my scenes in the can a couple of years ago. It’s been tough waiting so long to see the finished product. But it’s mad now to see it on the billboards outside cinemas and all over the newspaper listings. Expend4bles is a bit of a mirror for me – all action but doesn’t take itself too seriously. Possibly why I’m pretty sure I’m the only cast member who in real life drives a tank!
Not taking yourself too seriously isn’t a bad attitude to have in life. It guarantees a lot of laughs and makes the tough times easier to bear when they come.
I’d urge you all – get yourself down to your nearest cinema, switch off for a while, and immerse yourself in my crazy world!
